Free calls to the other office in Particular. To phone a particular extension in the other office simpy press the button marked "ext 301" When you hear the other office dial tone dial the extension number you require. The call is free.

Transfered, brokered calls to the other office. Say you have a caller on the line who wants speak to someone from your other office.

Simply press ext 301, dial the person you want to speak to in the other office and transfer the outside caller to him.

Remote answering service. Say you are short staffed and want your other office to answer some of your calls. Simply program your system so that when calls in general come in on your lines, they also ring at the remote office and they can answer for you. It could be set up so anyone you choose could do this, not just your other office.

Host the other office. If required, the other office could make their calls from your office pabx. This could be good if they need to make calls local to you but long distance to them.

OFFICE ONE: In this example, office 1 is setup with a KVA300

On pressing line 4, a VOIP dial tone is returned and if the VOIP number of the OFFICE 2's Line 4 is dialled, then a call will come in on line 4 at OFFICE2 which anyone can answer.

If anyone at Offic1 presses the their button representing Ext 301, then the adapter automatically returns the internal dial tone of the PABX at Office 2, and the caller can then dial the extension number at office 2 of the person he wants to contact.

If someone at office 1 is talking to a caller on an outside line, and wants to transfer them to office 2, then the office 1 person puts the outside caller on hold, dials office1's ext 301 which gives the internal dial tone at office 2, he dials the desired extension and then can transfer the external caller to the desired person in office 2.

OFFICE 2 : This is an exact mirror image of office 1.

Anything which office 1 can do with office 2, office 2 can do with office 1

What you will need Apart from our Adapter KA300 at each office. The PABX at each office will need a spare analogue extension port and a spare analogue exchange line port. Also a router at each end with broadband. It will be necessary for an telephone engineer to wire up our adapters. The engineer will not need to understand out adapters or anything about VOIP - they are expertly by our team preconfigured ready to go.
