This is set up by dialling a simple code. The other office could be either in uk or abroad.
Diverson of Calls to a Mobile.
We use this with much success. By paying a very small subscription
(about £2 per month) you can link your voip to the PSTN and dial any number,
voip or pstn.

The cost of calls to our mobiles is dramatically lower
than it was before we used this.
Free VOIP calls anywhere.
As with all the adapters, free VOIP calls are always available.
Remote answering service.
The sort of person working from home often uses an answering service. Using the adapters, it could be setup so all diverted calls are free thus reducing costs.

In this example, the home is diverting its calls to another office
used regularly and so a second KVA200 is used at the destination site.

The calls could just as easily be diverted via the VIOP service to any
number, VOIP or PSTN.

Your sites will need a router with a spare port and
Broadband connection.
It most cases, there is nothing more to do than connecting it and the
system will work fine.
The voip calls make use of the unused bandwidth on the router and so the calls are
free of charge. 1 line usually works very well even on the minimum bandwidth of 512K.
Should you customer be using up the bandwidth with large file transfers
then in practice, they may suffer temporary speech degradation
during occasional file transfers. If you do not already have one,
you can prevent this by getting a router which allows you to reserve bandwidth for speech.
If you expect to use 2 speech channels regularly, then you may need
to rent more bandwidth.
Note, although we set up the adapters, we do not setup the routers. Having
said that, in most cases with small business, their routers have DHCP
enabled by default which means they auto detect our adapters without the
customer or you having to do anything to set them up.
